Who are Cycle scheme?
Cyclescheme are an independent company created to help both employers and employees make the most of the Green Transport Plan Initiative and associated tax concessions offered by the Chancellor. Cyclescheme use their industry experience and trade contacts to get you riding to work on a bike of your choice from your local preferred bike shop.
What is Cycle scheme?
The scheme is a voucher scheme and you will need to apply for a voucher to redeem against your goods when you collect them from the bike shop. To obtain your voucher you will first need to get your employer on board with Cyclescheme.
Who can use Cycle scheme?
Under this agreement, employees who have contracts of employment that outlast the duration of the salary sacrifice (pay back) period can benefit from obtaining a tax-free bike and accessories (safety equipment). Employees must be over 18 years old and have exceeded the employer's probationary period (if applicable).
What can i save?
Cycle scheme at its most basic is a way for you to buy a bike and accessories without the burden of paying tax, savings will vary and there are salary considerations to take account of. You can work out your saving on the Cyclescheme employee calculator.
Where do i get the quote for my employer?
You can obtain a quote to submit to your employer by browsing our site, Email us by clicking the "CONTACT" bar above (remember to tell us its Cyclescheme Quote) or create an order. At the checkout select the "STANDARD CHECKOUT" which does not require payment details, then mention CycleScheme Quote in the order comments field.

Cyclescheme Vouchers?
Cyclescheme take a 10% comission off the voucher value, However if we have a bike reduced you will have to adjust your voucher price accordingly, i.e. Bike Offer Price £750.00, the Voucher would have to be for £833.33 as Cyclescheme would get £83.33 and we would get our offer price £750.00.
The quick way to work it out is add 11% on to the Offer Price although if by adding that on the value is greater than the RRP price then you would put the RRP price on your voucher.
